DB Cooper Legend
One of my all-time favorite heist stories, Coast to Coast AM introduced me to the infamous story of D.B. Cooper. On November 24, 1971, a man using the alias Dan Cooper (later dubbed D.B. Cooper) hijacked a Boeing 727 flight from Portland to Seattle, extorting $200,000 in ransom and parachutes. He commanded the crew to fly toward Mexico before parachuting over Southwest Washington in a storm. Despite a massive FBI manhunt, he was never found.
